Your home is private, and Maidly is built to keep it that way. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect, how we use it, and what settings you can manage — without changing the legal rights set out below.

Types of data collected

Saudi PDPL privacy notice

  • We process personal data for specific and disclosed purposes connected to account operation, household task management, subscription management, support, security, and product improvements you consent to where consent is required.
  • We limit collection to data needed for Maidly features, including home setup, tasks, instructions, translation, reminders, media attachments, and account administration.
  • You may request to know what data is processed, access it, correct it, request destruction/deletion, and withdraw consent where consent is the processing basis.
  • Worker, family, childcare, photo, voice-note, passport, iqama, or similar information may be sensitive or highly private. Enter only the minimum information needed for the household workflow.
  • Some data may be processed by service providers outside Saudi Arabia where needed for hosting, authentication, analytics, payments, translation, AI, or support, subject to appropriate contractual and security safeguards.

Privacy requests and data export

Signed-in users can submit a privacy request or download an account data export inside the app. You may also contact support@maidly.cc for access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or PDPL-related questions.

Complaints and escalation

If you have a privacy or PDPL-related objection or complaint, submit a request from the Privacy & Data page or email support@maidly.cc with the subject "PDPL Privacy Complaint". We log, review, and escalate complaints internally when needed, with an audit trail for handling and response.

Processors and service providers

  • Hosting, database, authentication, and storage: Firebase and Google Cloud or similar infrastructure providers.
  • AI and translation: Google AI/Genkit or similar model and translation providers when you use task, image, voice, or translation features.
  • Payments: licensed payment providers such as Paylink or another approved payment provider for checkout and invoicing.
  • Notifications: OneSignal or similar notification providers for operational and consent-based marketing notifications.
  • Analytics and marketing: Google Tag Manager, Firebase Analytics, Snap Pixel, or similar tools, with optional marketing use managed by consent where required.

Retention period summary

  • Account and profile data: kept while the account is active and deleted after account deletion, subject to legal, accounting, security, or dispute obligations.
  • Home, task, instruction, and attachment data: kept while needed to provide the service or until the account or specific data is deleted.
  • Payment and invoice records: kept as needed for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations.
  • Privacy requests and audit records: kept as accountability evidence for handling data subject requests and compliance obligations.
  • Analytics and marketing data: kept according to consent choices and provider settings; optional analytics or marketing use can be rejected or withdrawn where applicable.

AI, voice, and image processing notice

When you use voice analysis, image analysis, AI-generated instructions, or translation features, Maidly may send task text, uploaded files, or related task context to AI or translation providers to generate assistive output. Review AI output before use and avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive data.

Marketing and notification consent

Operational account notifications are separate from optional marketing notifications. We do not use optional marketing cookies, marketing identifiers, or promotional push notifications unless there is an appropriate legal basis or consent. You may reject optional choices or withdraw consent where applicable.

Payment processing

  • Payments are processed through approved and licensed third-party payment gateways.
  • Maidly does not store full card numbers, CVV, or sensitive payment credentials.

Account deletion and termination

You may delete your account from the profile screen at any time. When an account is deleted, access stops and related active operational account data is removed from Maidly systems, subject to legal, security, or accounting retention obligations. We may also suspend or terminate access for misuse or Terms violations.

Data retention

Data is retained as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations.

Security and privacy safeguards

  • Fine-grained access permissions at household, member, worker, and task levels.
  • Secure, temporary access links for photos and voice notes.
  • Audit logs for core actions such as create, edit, and delete.
  • Defined retention periods by data type and legal obligation.
  • Clear disclosure of AI, translation, analytics, and processing providers.

User rights
